Trace Innovations 2.2

Trace, developed in collaboration with Dartmouth College and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, was designed for use primarily in Hanover, NH. Leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies such as Bluetooth and GPS, Trace offers proximity tracking services to the local community.

The functionality of the Trace solution allows community members to activate the app as needed or as advised by organizational leadership, delegating the remaining responsibilities to designated community administrators. The primary objective is to elevate the safety of community residents with minimal disruption to their daily routines. Simultaneously, Trace equips administrators and safety personnel with advanced tools fueled by real-time and precise data that was previously unattainable.

Trace is deliberately constructed as an application that users will not frequently engage with, if at all on a daily basis, yet it delivers critical information and communication capabilities to administrators. During emergencies or situations compromising safety, Trace engenders a heightened level of security for community members.

Through the Trace administrator analytics dashboard, administrators can consistently access pertinent information regarding the safety status of their community when security concerns arise.

The application offers the following features:

• Early detection of potential health and safety risks
• Empowerment of community leaders to swiftly and decisively ensure safety and well-being
• Assurance when interacting with other members of the community

Data Security:

• Trace automatically deletes outdated data daily and retains proximity data for a maximum of 14 days
• Information is shared solely with designated community administrators with user consent
• User data is not commercialized
• Data is provided exclusively for health and safety purposes to specified organizational health and safety leaders
